A Church of England hospital Chaplain has led a campaign which has identified more than 1,000 people over 80 to be vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine.

Vaccines began to be administered in Lichfield Cathedral today, the first cathedral in England to host a public vaccination clinic.

A retired hospital consultant, who is also a priest working in South London, has dedicated her time to vaccinating the vulnerable.

A rural church in a village with no post office or shop has been able to offer part of its building as a community centre, providing refreshments, advice and activities, after a decade-long renovation project.
