Restricted funerals and their impact on grief

In 2019 about half a million people died in England from a whole range of causes.  Most of them would have had friends, colleagues, neighbours and family gather to show support, respect and love. Many would have had visitors in the days and weeks of a final illness, and been surrounded as they slipped from this world.
