The draft Scheme provides for the proposed
(i) dissolving the parish of Burstwick in the benefice of Burstwick, Burton Pidsea, Humbleton with Elsternwick, Halsham, and Thorngumbald
(ii) transferring the area of the parish of Burstwick to the parish of Keyingham in the benefice of Easington with Skeffling, Keyingham, Ottringham, Patrington, Welwick and Winestead
(iii) the consequential amendment of the benefice names involved in this reorganisation; and
(iv) the consequential amendment of the parish name of Keyingham to “The Parish of Keyingham with Burstwick”.
This consultation closes on Monday 11th December 2023.
