The Queen has approved the nomination of The Revd Preb James Grier as the next Bishop of Plymouth, Downing Street has announced.
James grew up in Plymouth and has already served in the Diocese of Exeter for a number of years.
He is currently the Mission Enabler for the Diocese of Exeter and has a broad range of urban and rural ministry experience, with a particular focus on youth and pastoral care as well as mission.
