Kevin Crompton, the interim commissioner of independent reviews relating to the work promised by the former ISB (Independent Safeguarding Board) will continue his work with survivors and victims for a further 12 months. The Archbishops’ Council has extended his contract to ensure continuity in this important work. Kevin, a senior safeguarding professional with experience in child and adult safeguarding and scrutiny in local authority setting, was appointed to commission and quality assure the reviews and complaints in line with the former ISB’s processes. This is alongside the ongoing independent support from advocacy service FearFree.
