The Church Commissioners for England, which manages one of the largest endowment funds in the UK, raises £550 million via a debut bond issue to support its long-term charitable objectives and investment goals

The Church Commissioners for England, which manages a £10.1 billion endowment fund to provide long-term financial support for the mission and ministry of the Church of England, has raised £550 million, made up of a £250 million Sustainability Bond with a 10-year maturity and a £300 million conventional bond with a 30-year maturity.

New resource for survivors of church-based abuse

A new initiative focused on survivors of church-based abuse and those who support them is being launched by the Diocese of Newcastle.

The initiative, which is a response to recent guidance issued by the Church of England to church officers and church bodies on how to respond well to victims and survivors of all kinds of abuse, has been part funded by the charity Safe Spaces.
