Being Built Together

Over 130 clerics and lay ministers from Global Majority Heritage backgrounds attend the first ever networking event of its kind.

Being Built Together was the first networking event of its kind, held on 12-13 October at the Hayes, Swanwick. The occasion brought together lay and ordained people of UKME/Global Majority Heritage from various ministries to encourage and affirm their work. The event also provided an opportunity to showcase and learn about the ongoing efforts of different ethnocultural groups.

The event's title is inspired by 1 Peter 2:5 as a reminder of how Christians are called to foster a sense of unity and collaboration that contributes to building a more vital, more equitable church that blesses others.

On this page, the talks and presentations have been collated as a resource to inform and inspire.
