I am a Church Leader

We want to start by thanking every church leader, lay and ordained, working with such dedication to support and serve their communities, placing children and young people at the heart of their ministry through their work with schools and families. Please watch this film, made by a group of Bishops, which simply thanks you for all you are doing:
Faith at home, at school and at church.

For Church Leaders, Faith at Home is a call to discover God’s presence in the place where people spend most of their time. A church is fundamentally made up of multiple households, each a community of faith. The home is a place where all members of the household might share together in discovering, recognising and following God who is always with us. Our role as leaders is to equip and inspire these regular habits and practices, placing children and young people at the centre.

Through prayer, conversation, debate, questions, reading, creating, pausing and reflecting, these resources offer routes into exploring faith and discovering spiritual encounter in our homes. It is a call to choose a lifelong exploration of a growing faith, nurtured in the normal everyday elements of life together.

Each week, we will publishing a range of content to support families discuss faith, develop their practices and habits together following these themes.

Hope Patience Vulnerability
Courage Resilience Compassion
Love Kindness Flourishing
Humility Generosity

Other key theme resources, including for example those focused on supporting children and young people in Grief and Bereavement, will be also shared through Faith at Home.

We are grateful to the range of church communities contributing to these resources across so many Dioceses, along with a growing range of partner organisations.
