The National Safeguarding Team has created a range of safeguarding learning pathways for people with roles in the Church of England to complete. Core safeguarding learning pathways (Basic Awareness, Foundation, Leadership and Senior Leadership) have been developed as a modular programme that builds learning according to role and therefore these pathways should be completed in consecutive order until an individual has reached the required highest level of learning for their role.
In addition to the core pathways, additional pathways have been developed to build on the core learning for some specific roles and safeguarding issues.
