NEWS / The outcomes of four pilot independent audits into safeguarding arrangements in the Church of England have been published today.

INEQE Safeguarding Group has been appointed by the Archbishops’ Council to carry out the next round of independent external audits of Church of England dioceses and cathedrals, starting in January 2024.

Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) independent audits within the Church of England.

Last month we reached the decision to postpone the cathedral audits due to take place between March and August 2020 because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
