This nationally funded project, chaired by the Bishop of Leicester, aims to bring about change to raise up 30,000 new children and youth leaders by 2030.
The 30k Project seeks to do this by focusing on these THREE areas:
Help churches to recruit 27,000 volunteers with children, young people and their families (CYPF)
The JOIN resources offer a toolkit for churches to plan and run a successful recruitment campaign. The toolkit includes powerful films, free posters, social media slides and guidance on how to plan a recruitment campaign, recruit safely and support volunteers going forward. The resources are free and available to all.

Ministry with children, young people and their families (CYPF) is both highly rewarding and essential. It's crucial that we equip CYPF ministers with the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to thrive in their ministry. The 30k Project is therefore developing a suite of training that will be accessible and suitable for those with no previous experience or qualifications, all the way up to post-graduate degrees.

In January 2024 the 30k Project commissioned research into the well-being of employed Children’s, Young People and Families (CYPF) Ministers. This identified key areas where change is needed if we are to create an environment in which CYPF ministers can grow and flourish in their roles.
