To cope with the frequent use of this church, the parish chose to improve the heating at Willesborough: St Mary. After rejecting alternative potential systems for environmental and financial reasons, the team settled on installing underfloor heating within this grade II*-listed building.
With the capacity to efficiently produce low-level heat underneath people, the system has worked out well, enabling the services, cafe and night-shelter all hosted here to be enhanced.
