The draft Scheme provides for the proposal for the church of All Saints Hightown in the Castleford Team Parish to be closed for regular public worship.
This consultation expires on Monday 18th September 2023.
Anyone may make representations (formal comments) for or against the draft scheme.

As objections were received against the draft Scheme, the matter was considered at the meeting of the Commissioners' Mission, Pastoral and Church Property Committee on Thursday 21 March 2024.
The Committee decided that the draft Scheme should be allowed to proceed notwithstanding the representations made against it, and a full statement of reasons for that decision will be sent to all who made representations and all interested parties in due course.
