Hello, my name is Wale Hudson-Roberts. I am an accredited Baptist Minister with extensive ecumenical involvement. I am based within the diocese of Oxford but often travel across the country. I am an experienced mentor of church leaders of various traditions.
After 8 years of a rich and fulfilling pastorate, I was appointed as the Baptist Union’s Racial Justice Coordinator. Recently my responsibilities have widened to also include gender and disability concerns.
Outside of church, I am inspired by reading and I write for Keep The Faith magazine. I am committed to global affairs. My son often complains about the amount of time I spend listening to the news. I also enjoy running, swimming and cycling.
My mentoring style is to focus on creating a listening and safe environment. I am committed to seeing that clergy and potential clergy feel encouraged and supported.
I am married to Christine and we have been foster carers for many years.
