What is it like to run a Renew Wellbeing space?
Thursday 1 May, 4pm
- Have you been wondering how to reach out to your local community?
- Are you aware of people feeling isolated, or experiencing mental health challenges like burnout and depression?
- Do you wonder how you could provide a safe and caring environment, with experienced support?
Come along to this webinar to hear the experience of Anglican church leaders who already run an established Renew Wellbeing space. They will tell us about what it was like to do the training, engage volunteers, make contact with local health and statutory services, and advertise to their community. They report on the steady growth from small beginnings, to providing a much-loved community café space that is prayerful, friendly, caring and well-resourced.
Renew Director Ruth will tell us a little of her story and how to access further training, and to join in!

How intentional prayer for evangelism (Thy Kingdom Come) can support church growth
Monday 12th May, 12:30pm
Thy Kingdom Come is a global movement that invites Christians to pray from Ascension Day to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus. This year’s Thy Kingdom Come takes place at a time of great opportunity.
According to research, including Bible Society’s Quiet Revival, there is an unprecedented openness to accepting invitations to explore faith and to attend church and our own research findings indicate that engaging effectively with Thy Kingdom Come, being utterly reliant on God through prayer, can do much to enable church growth.
This 45-minute webinar, organised by the Thy Kingdom Come team in partnership with the College of Archbishops’ Evangelists, will draw upon examples of best practice from across the country and the world to explore how Thy Kingdom Come and other forms of intentional prayer, can most effectively be used to encourage and enable your church in evangelistic outreach.
