More revs than one at our biker wedding!

Casey Thorpe’s dad is president of the Eagle Riders bike club – so it was only natural that she should ride on the back of his Harley Davidson to her wedding.

The 23-year-old was also escorted by 26 other vintage Harley Davidsons on the way to tying the knot with Harrison at Holy Trinity Church, Gosport.

And the vicar, the Rev Andy Davis, who married them, decided he would try out the largest motorbike after the service.

“Bikers from the club do escort people to weddings, hen nights and proms, and ask that the person makes a donation to charity,” said Casey. “So I was always going to go to my wedding on the back of dad’s bike, even though I was terrified my wedding dress might catch fire!

“People’s reaction is always to look, for their mouths to fall open and then they smile.

“It was a lovely wedding, my favourite part of the whole day. Andy made it very special for us.”
