All Tell the good news of Jesus the Christ
to all who are searching for redemption.
1 This is the message we have heard from Christ
and proclaim to you: ♦
that God is light,
in whom there is no darkness at all.
2 If we say that we have fellowship with God
while we walk in darkness, ♦
we lie and do not do what is true.
3 But if we walk in the light
as God is in the light, ♦
we have fellowship with one another.
4 And the blood of Jesus, the Son of God, ♦
cleanses us from all our sins.
5 If we say that we have no sin, ♦
we deceive ourselves
and the truth is not in us.
6 If we confess our sins, ♦
the One who is faithful and just will forgive us
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
